Employees of Digital Monitoring Products in Springfield, Missouri, have committed to raising more than $27,000 to support feedONE, a Convoy of Hope campaign focused on eradicating world hunger. The business says 125 of its employees have committed to feeding 226 children in 2014.
Kayla, a receptionist and single mom of two, is feeding two children she’s never met for the entire year. “I wouldn’t want my kids going with out food,” she says. “We’re cutting out a fast food meal a week to help make this happen. It makes me feel good. I like giving back.”
