What We Do
The needs in neighborhoods are real.
So are the solutions.
Poverty and hunger have gained a devastating edge in urban neighborhoods and rural communities alike. Through Community Engagement, Convoy resources, empowers, and partners with local leaders and churches through training, mentoring, and coaching. Convoy believes that increased presence and partnership will help strengthen and enrich entire cities, towns, and neighborhoods.
I am not the same person as I was before this event. Today changed me.

Partner Resourcing
Hunger and poverty aren’t problems that can be solved alone. Convoy of Hope forms partnerships with like-minded organizations to create a network of kindness that can reach into the farthest corners of society to reach those who need hope the most. We resource food pantries, school backpack programs, summer feeding programs, and weekly food distributions while also helping local leadership more effectively discover and implement solutions.

Field Teams
Field Teams exist to connect partners with opportunities to serve people through Convoy of Hope. Field Teams consist of groups of people from churches, universities, other organizations, or even a group of friends. Field Teams only serve in places where we are invited by local leaders and on projects marked by mutual design, which might include the following.
• Building kitchens at schools or feeding centers
• Building greenhouses or tilling gardens
• Working on community betterment projects in rural America
• Building out a church-based laundry facility for refugee use
• Serving meals to children and playing with them at recess
• Mini-block parties in urban America.
• Much more
