Convoy of Hope is responding with critical relief after days of heavy rainfall caused the San Juan River to flood the Four Corners region — where New Mexico, Utah, Colorado, and Arizona share a common border point.

The river crested at 21 feet in Shiprock, New Mexico — its highest recorded crest since 1935.

On Saturday night, one death was reported. Hundreds of families have evacuated.

The floodwaters washed out roads and damaged as many as 1,500 homes and buildings. Water rescues have saved many lives. While the flood warnings linger, emergency shelters are open for displaced families.

With essential items — including food, water, cleaning supplies, and blankets — Convoy of Hope is meeting immediate needs across these communities.
