Photos From Convoy of Hope’s Kansas City Community Event

We had the opportunity to partner with our friends in Kansas City to put on an event in Swope Park where we served more than 1,300 guests of honor with free goods and services. Volunteers braved the rain and shared their hearts of compassion with each person attending the event.

Our friends at the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) served more than 400 women on Saturday
NBCF partners with Convoy of Hope to provide breast health education, support and early detection service to underserved women
Kids enjoy face painting, balloons and pony rides in the Kids Zone
Guests of Honor recieve a new pair of socks and shoes
Local stylists volunteer their time to provide haircuts
Many guests need help back to their cars or the bus because of all the groceries available

As the assistant director for his children's school in #Nicaragua, Jose faced limited school resources and funding. When Convoy brought Agriculture training to his community, he was able to grow a successful school garden and bring hope. Read more at https://h.ope.is/3yz404U.
