One Driving Passion

Convoy of Hope is celebrating milestones
in serving those in need.

Since Convoy of Hope started in 1994, our passion for delivering relief and hope has been fueled by you, our compassion-filled friends.

Today, we are celebrating a few incredible milestones in our work to serve the hungry and suffering. As we look back, we’re honored to have served so many. But our work still comes down to caring for one. One child, one farmer, one woman, one disaster survivor, one community — and one driving passion.

HOPE BEGINS WITH A MEAL

For each of the 500,000 children Convoy of Hope feeds, our aim far exceeds basic nutrition. Children also have better access to clean and safe drinking water, essential vitamins, and deworming medication. All over the world, families that struggle to put food on the table can rest a little easier knowing that their kids are receiving help from Convoy of Hope.

Equipped with healthy bodies, sharp minds, and spirits that run wild toward a future filled with possibilities — the cycle of poverty is broken. After all, hope often begins with a meal … and it takes one driving passion to deliver it.

+ 26 COUNTRIES
+ 3,046 PROGRAM CENTERS WORLDWIDE

FROM HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

Since the beginning, Convoy has held a strict “Guest of Honor” principle — treating everyone with respect and dignity, regardless of their circumstances. Today, the organization has served more than 200 million Guests of Honor through various outreaches and interventions.

The first official outreach in 1994 was a small Community Event, which served hundreds of people. Today, a typical Community Event serves 10,000 to 12,000 guests.

Each year, tens of thousands of volunteers support this important worldwide work, and Convoy of Hope is immeasurably grateful for their sacrifice.

+ 130 COUNTRIES SERVED
+ 621 DISASTER RESPONSES WORLDWIDE
+ 889,090 VOLUNTEERS ENGAGED IN SERVICE

LOOKING BACK & LOOKING FORWARD

What began as an impromptu distribution from the back of a borrowed pickup truck has grown into what Convoy of Hope is today: a global organization that has distributed more than $2 billion worth of relief supplies to vulnerable people and communities.

It’s impossible to celebrate this accomplishment without acknowledging the many people, churches, companies, and organizations that made it possible. And while it’s important to celebrate this milestone, at the end of the day it is only a pause — because the work must continue.

$2 BILLION WORTH OF RELIEF SUPPLIES DISTRIBUTED

+ MILLIONS OF MILES DRIVEN
+ THOUSANDS OF CONTAINERS DELIVERED
