A dangerous EF-4 tornado tore through Enid, Oklahoma, the night of Thursday, April 23, leaving behind a path of destruction. The town of about 50,000 people avoided fatalities — but the impact is unmistakable. The tornado damaged more than 40 homes, tearing off their roofs and leveling some down to their foundations. Neighborhoods and commercial buildings were destroyed, littering the area with metal and wood debris. Downed utility poles left power lines tangled with fallen tree limbs.

The town is in need of emergency cleanup — and its people in need of care.

Early Friday morning, April 24, Convoy of Hope deployed team members to deliver relief to families affected by this disaster. At distributions through local church partners, Enid residents received essential supplies to begin their recovery journey: hygiene items, illumination kits, totes, and tarps.

So far, 1,675 individuals have received practical help and hope in this response.
