Convoy Serves Grand Junction Communities

USA Reported by Convoy of Hope

Convoy of Hope’s most recent Community Event brought help and hope to communities in and around Grand Junction, Colorado.

“Last Saturday was a great day in Grand Junction, Colorado!” said a member of Convoy of Hope’s Community Events team. “The Convoy of Hope Community Event was filled with such joy and excitement. Volunteers served with excellence and guests’ beaming smiles reflected that they were incredibly blessed.”

The event provided meals, socks, haircuts, family portraits, veterans services, and more than 7,000 bags of groceries to Guests of Honor throughout the Grand Junction area.

The event also included life-saving services from the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Hundreds of individuals learned about early-detection and local resources to help fight breast cancer throughout the community.

Other guests came to the Community Event struggling with financial insecurity, loss of loved ones, self-harm, and other obstacles. By the time they left, Convoy team members, partners, and volunteers offered them resources, local connections, opportunities, and most of all, hope.

In 2020 alone, more than 4.5 million people in the U.S. received much-needed aid from Convoy of Hope. With your support, Convoy continues to reach underserved communities, both in the U.S. and internationally.
