Convoy of Hope & The Warrior’s Journey Bring Gifts to Service Members

USA Reported by Convoy of Hope

Christmas can look different for United States military members — that’s why Convoy of Hope and The Warrior’s Journey partner together to give these warriors a tangible gift of hope and long-term resources so they know they’re not alone.

This year, through the partnership, Convoy team members and volunteers packaged gifts that were distributed to military members in eight locations across Texas, Georgia, Missouri, and Washington state.

The gifts — which contain holiday treats, snacks, resources for PTSD, and connection points to The Warrior’s Journey and Convoy of Hope — made it into the hands of military members just in time for Christmas Day. This brings some normalcy to warriors who may not be able to go home for the holidays.

For organizations like The Warrior’s Journey, whose mission is to provide warrior-to-warrior intervention and resources to care for invisible wounds military service can bring, these gifts are a tangible way to lift spirits during what could be a difficult season alone.

Convoy of Hope is grateful for the service of so many military members and glad to give back in some way for Christmas.
