While most of the United States is anticipating above-average temperatures heading into the weekend, the Pacific Northwest is bracing for another round of heavy rainfall, mountain snow, and dangerous winds. In the midst of the ongoing flooding, which has caused over 100,000 people to be displaced, families are facing road closures, access challenges, and varying levels of property damage.

Convoy of Hope is meeting the needs of families in crisis with tractor trailer loads of essential relief supplies — like water, cleaning supplies, hygiene items, and baby care items.

Thousands of people in the Pacific Northwest have been forced to evacuate their homes as a foot of rain has fallen over parts of western and central Washington. The rain came over several days, swelling rivers, inundating communities with historic flooding, and prompting rescues from rooftops and trapped vehicles.

Convoy of Hope is on the ground in Washington, distributing relief supplies to people as many wait to return home.
