Strength Through Adversity: Aniolle’s Story of Hope

Haiti Reported by Convoy of Hope

“The most beautiful thing that happened to me recently was finding the strength to lead my family through a difficult season,” Aniolle said. “It filled my heart with joy.”

Despite ongoing instability in Haiti, Aniolle is leading her family with resilience and determination. A wife, mother of seven, and participant in Convoy of Hope’s Women’s Empowerment program, she has found new confidence through practical training and the support of her community.

Life in Haiti is challenging, and gang violence is common. But the Mothers’ Club — facilitated by Mission of Hope and Convoy of Hope — has become a source of encouragement and connection for many women.

Through the program, Aniolle learned practical skills for strengthening her family, raising her children, and even creating products such as liquid soap, household cleaners, and perfume to generate additional income.

Today, Aniolle uses the skills she has gained to operate a small business while sharing what she has learned with others in her community. The training has transformed not only her own life but also the way she cares for her family and supports those around her.
