Convoy Responds to Tropical Storm Barry

DELHI, LA—Convoy of Hope’s Disaster Services team is responding to what could be the first hurricane of the 2019 hurricane season. Tropical Storm Barry is currently located along the Gulf Coast and has the potential to turn into a Category 1 storm by Saturday.

Convoy has prepositioned two loads of relief supplies at our Mississippi Delta Program Center in Delhi, Louisiana. With staff and supplies in close proximity to the endangered area, Convoy’s Disaster Services team can respond quickly when needed. Supplies being sent include food, water, hygiene kits, and cleaning supplies.
