Wisconsin Floods: Convoy of Hope Is En Route

A harrowing stretch of storms brought record rainfall to southern Wisconsin this weekend, when a summer’s worth of rain fell and buckled roads, flooded homes, and inundated vehicles.

Streets turned to rivers in a matter of minutes overnight. Residents woke up to water-filled basements, cars floating in parking garages, and no power in their homes or businesses. For many, this is the worst disaster they’ve ever experienced.

Videos on social media show people trekking through muddied water — in their homes and through streets. Right now, the biggest need is cleaning supplies. When everyone in a community needs the same supplies, grocery stores can’t keep up with the demand.

Convoy of Hope is en route to the area with cleaning supplies, food, water, hygiene kits, and more.
