Convoy of Hope is responding to the wildfires raging in the U.S. West. In California, the Park Fire has burned more than 368,000 acres and is currently 15% contained. The fire has already forced several communities to evacuate, and is burning close to Paradise, California, which was devastated by a wildfire in 2018.

In Idaho, powerful winds and lightning strikes led to wildfires last week. The Gwen Fire is burning at 0% containment, destroying nearly 29,000 acres so far.

Convoy will be distributing relief supplies — food, water, and hygiene kits — as needs arise. The strategic position of our Regional Distribution Center in California will help us quickly get these resources to those who need them.
