Niagara Bottling & Convoy of Hope Bring Life to Communities

USA Reported by Convoy of Hope

Water is an essential part of life. In April, Convoy of Hope honored a long-standing partnership with Niagara Bottling and their work in bringing resources to Convoy’s disaster responses all over the world.

Employees were honored at Niagara’s headquarters in Diamond Bar, California, with a Global Impact Award for the company’s steadfast support of survivors of disasters through water.

“Making a positive difference in our communities has been our priority for over 60 years,” said Ann Canela, Director of Corporate Giving at Niagara. “We are grateful for our partnership with Convoy of Hope and [are] honored to be recognized for supporting our communities with essential hydration in times of need.”

Niagara has provided water when it was needed most.

In 2020, they provided water for Convoy’s response to Hurricane Laura. The following year, they donated more than 60 truckloads of water to Convoy’s response in Texas — where both winter weather and a water crisis had hit the state. In the end, Niagara donated nearly 3 million bottles of water to that response.

In 2022, Convoy of Hope responded to nearly two dozen water-focused crises. Convoy is still providing water to many towns affected by long-term infrastructure issues.

“We are proud to partner together on this important work and will continue to make sure clean bottled water is available to those that need it most,” said Ann.

Water means life, and Convoy is grateful to bring communities life and recovery through vital partnerships.
