Convoy of Hope, the Joey Logano Foundation, and the Arby’s Foundation hosted a grocery distribution in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Saturday morning to provide help and hope to the community.

In addition to the on-site distribution, Joey Logano Foundation “pit crews” went out into the community and delivered necessities directly to those who needed them. In total, volunteers distributed more than 2,400 grocery bags to approximately 800 individuals.

“This is our community. These are our people,” said Brittany Logano, wife of NASCAR driver Joey Logano.

Throughout the event, Brittany worked alongside the rest of the volunteers to direct traffic, greet guests, and load grocery bags into vehicles. The bags included nonperishable food items, hygiene kits, bottled water, socks, Hot Wheels toys for the kids, Arby’s meal cards, and other necessities.

Brittany wants the grocery bags to provide long-term hope to guests while also meeting their immediate needs.

“Sometimes people just need a little lift-me-up — a little help,” Brittany said.

Thank you for supporting Convoy of Hope in providing a hand up to communities around the world.
