Convoy of Hope Celebrates Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025

Kenya Reported by Convoy of Hope

Did you know Menstrual Hygiene Day is celebrated around the world every year on May 28? This year in Kenya, women of all ages gathered to celebrate with Convoy of Hope.

The women and girls joined in a parade — walking, singing, and dancing down the road. Because of this, the community got to witness the celebration and be a part of the conversation about menstrual hygiene.

A huge part of Convoy’s Women’s Empowerment program is educating and providing resources to women across the globe, and giving them a safe space to learn about menstrual health.
