Join us for dinner and a time of celebration in honor of International Women’s Day! Learn about Convoy of Hope’s Women’s Empowerment initiative and how you can empower women and girls around the world.

Each attendee will receive a special gift from Convoy:Women. You will also have the opportunity to participate in the fun opportunities listed below.

Jenna Bush Hager

Jenna is the co-host of TODAY with Hoda and Jenna. She is also the co-author of two #1 New York Times bestselling children’s books that she wrote with her mother, Laura—Our Great Big Backyard and Read All About It—as well as the #1 New York Times bestsellers Sisters First, written with her sister, Barbara.

Jenna is also the co-author of the #1 New York Times best seller Ana’s Story: A Journey of Hope, which she wrote after traveling to Latin America in 2006 as an intern with UNICEF. Jenna remains involved with UNICEF and is currently chairing its Next Generation initiative dedicated to reducing childhood deaths worldwide.

Hal Donaldson

President & Chief Executive Officer

Hal Donaldson is founder/CEO of Convoy of Hope, a faith-based, nonprofit organization that leads humanitarian initiatives across the United States and around the world.  

Donaldson is a graduate of San Jose State University and Bethany University. He is an award-winning journalist and speaker. He has authored more than 30 books.

His awards include the National Distinguished Service Award in Social Welfare, Inductee into the Missouri Public Affairs Hall of Fame, Springfield Business Journals’ Lifetime Achievement Award, and 417 Magazine’s Person of the Year.

Vice President – Convoy:Women

Doree travels extensively, rallying the support of women across America to bring help and hope to families in need.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in music education at Evangel University and her master’s degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in piano performance. She served as a professor at Evangel University for 19 years before joining Convoy of Hope, which she and her husband founded in 1994.

Doree and her husband, Hal, have four daughters: Lindsay, Erin-Rae, Lauren, and Haly.
