World Water Day Brings Hope & Hydration Around the World

Kenya Reported by

Like water, hope takes many forms. In celebration of World Water Day, we want to thank those who allow us to provide help and hope to people around the world by providing access to safe drinking water.

“Water is a vital part of how we can share hope with the world,” David Vanderpool, Convoy of Hope’s International Food & Agriculture Specialist remarked. The World Health Organization estimates that one out of three people in the world do not have access to clean drinking water. With your help, we can change that number — one life at a time.

“No one should have to spend their day getting water from a distant well,” David concluded. “No one should have to worry about their next drink of water making them sick. No one should have to take the risk of planting a field, only to lose it to drought.”

Thank you for supporting Convoy of Hope as we celebrate the lives that have been and will be changed with your help this World Water Day! You are why we can continue to give.

“Don’t withhold from people when it’s within your ability to do something. We’re doing something.”

When Convoy of Hope heard about #HurricaneIan developing, teams started to prepare. Now, with community members in #FortMyers, Convoy is delivering relief.
