COLUMBUS, MS — A severe tornado ripped through the town of Columbus, Mississippi, on Saturday afternoon, leaving many buildings destroyed and a community in need. By Sunday morning, Convoy of Hope deployed a team equipped with cleanup supplies, chainsaws, and heavy equipment to aid those affected.

Prior to the storm, floodwater from heavy rains affected many residents of Northern Mississippi. Convoy of Hope team members and volunteers are also delivering flood cleanup kits to those in the area.
