Hormel Foods is a Fortune 500 global branded food company and a leader in the food industry. Its brands include Planters, Applegate, Justin’s, Columbus, Jennie-O, SKIPPY, SPAM, and many more. Beyond the iconic brands that Hormel Foods brings to consumers and foodservice operators around the world, they also provide hope to communities through their long-standing partnership with Convoy of Hope.

Convoy and Hormel Foods have partnered together since 2015. The company has consistently helped Convoy provide food relief supplies, often filling multiple truckloads with food to give to people in communities in desperate need.

Feeding Children in El Salvador With Hormel Foods

In El Salvador, Hormel Foods partnered with Convoy through its SKIPPY brand to provide peanut butter for children participating in Convoy’s Children’s Feeding program in order to raise their calorie intake and supplement the meals Convoy provides.

“Hormel Foods has been a long-time supporter of Convoy of Hope. They have provided us with awesome food products and more,” said Convoy’s Bill Whitworth. “We very much value our relationship with them.”

Thanksgiving for Hurricane Survivors

In November 2017, Hurricane Harvey left families in Texas devastated and in a desperate situation. Convoy of Hope wanted to provide families in need with a Thanksgiving meal. In addition to the hot meals served, Hormel Foods partnered with Convoy and handed out frozen Jennie-O turkeys, CURE 81 hams, and Hormel Square Table™ sides to families to take home. Hormel Foods even sent their own staff to help at the event.

Convoy of Hope reaches vulnerable individuals and families far and wide with the help of dedicated partners like Hormel Foods.

*All proceeds through June 30, 2023, from this limited edition, estimated at $20,000, will be donated to Convoy of Hope.
