Convoy Recognized for Consistently Receiving Charity Navigator’s Highest Award

Reported by Convoy of Hope

Convoy of Hope is honored to be ranked among Charity Navigator’s list of “10 Charities with the Most Consecutive 4-Star Ratings.”

For 18 years in a row, Convoy of Hope has received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator — the highest award the organization has to offer. Now, we are pleased to see Convoy of Hope listed among other long-standing 4-star award winners such as United Way of Central Alabama, American Kidney Fund, and Kids Alive International.

“To be successful, organizations must be high performers consistently, year after year,” Charity Navigator said on its website. “These ten charities have earned the most consecutive 4-star ratings demonstrating an ongoing fiscal excellence. They are well-positioned to pursue and achieve long-term change.”

Charity Navigator rates nonprofit organizations based on several factors including accountability, transparency, and financial health. The goal of their rating system is to show, at a glance, how efficiently nonprofits will use donors’ funds. Their rating system ranges from “CN Advisory” (a step below their zero-star rating) to four stars, awarded when a charity “… exceeds industry standards and outperforms most charities in its Cause.”

Convoy of Hope considers it a huge honor to consistently receive high marks from Charity Navigator. We are grateful for those who support us and allow us to do the work that we do around the world.
