A Legacy of Hope

Reported by Convoy of Hope

Betty Donaldson Foote was the mother of Convoy’s President, Hal Donaldson. Her perseverance, strength, and compassion are the very reasons Convoy of Hope exists today.

Betty passed away in December of 2016, and a generous friend of Convoy of Hope offered a lead gift of $50,000 to start the Betty Donaldson Foote Memorial Fund. This endowment fund will create longevity and perpetuity for Convoy’s programs throughout the world.

“My family and the Convoy family are very grateful for the friends that set up this fund,” says Hal Donaldson. “I know my mother would be proud that her legacy of kindness will carry on through the work of our organization.”
