Justin Thomas Helps Hurricane Matthew Survivors

Reported by Convoy of Hope

After three impressive weeks in the PGA Tour, Justin Thomas’ #MakingBirdiesforMatthew has come to an end. Convoy of Hope thanks Justin, his sponsors, and his fans for generating more than $35,000 in donations for Convoy’s Hurricane Matthew disaster response.

Thomas, who pledged to donate $250 for every birdie, made 70 birdies over three recent PGA Tour events and went on to win the CIMB Classic event in Malaysia!

Because of generous friends like Justin, we have distributed 851,982 pounds of food, hygiene kits, cleaning supplies, and water in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. Internationally, more than 2.3 million meals and 88,000 water units were given to people affected by the hurricane.

Convoy of Hope congratulates Justin on his success and thanks everyone who participated in #MakingBirdiesForMatthew. Convoy can’t wait to partner with Justin and other athletes in the future to continue spreading hope around the world.
