Feed My Starving Children

Honduras Reported by Convoy of Hope
Feed My Starving Children

It’s because of partners like Feed My Starving Children that Marco from Honduras is able to walk. At 12 years old, Marco was bound to a chair because of his poor nutrition. With the help of food and vitamins donated by Feed My Starving Children, he is able to walk, his hair is beginning to darken, and his belly is no longer as protruded as before.

More than 125,000 children like Marco are enrolled in Convoy of Hope’s children’s feeding initiative in seven countries. Feed My Starving Children is an integral part of Convoy of Hope being able to provide food for those children.

Feed My Starving Children is the largest donor of meals, having donated over 70 containers (each container holding more than 280,000 meals) to Convoy of Hope’s feeding programs in 2012 alone.

“We wouldn’t be able to do what we do without partners like Feed My Starving Children,” says Kevin Rose, children’s feeding initiative director for Convoy of Hope. “Their provisions of nutritious meals give us the tools to battle malnutrition in our programs and provide motivation for kids to attend school regularly.”
