Convoy Named ‘Four Star Charity’ for 11th Year

Reported by Convoy of Hope

Charity Navigator, America’s largest and most-utilized independent evaluator of charities, has awarded Convoy of Hope the prestigious 4-star rating for its 11th consecutive year.

“We are proud to announce Convoy of Hope has earned our eleventh consecutive 4-star rating,“ says Ken Berger, President & CEO of Charity Navigator. “This ‘exceptional’ designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Convoy of Hope from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”

“We are honored to once again receive Charity Navigator’s highest rating,” says Hal Donaldson, President of Convoy of Hope. “As a faith-based organization, we strive to be fiscally responsible and abide by the highest standards for our business practices.”

According to Charity Navigator, receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that an organization adheres to good governance and other best practices that minimize the chance of unethical activities and consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way.

Less than 1% of the charities rated in America have received at least 11 consecutive 4-star evaluations.
