Convoy of Hope To Provide Groceries & New Shoes in Tampa

SPRINGFIELD, MO — February 2, 2021 This Saturday, February 6, Convoy of Hope will join Super Service Challenge, Athletes In Action and Feeding Tampa Bay to form a united act of compassion to help families in need in St Petersburg, Florida. These four nonprofits along with volunteers from local businesses, churches and community service organizations will provide free groceries and new children’s shoes to the public, while supplies last. The event will take place at Tropicana Field’s parking lot from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. ET 

VIP guests who will attend to show support include Michael Clayton, former Tampa Bay Bucs wide receiver and former first round draft pick, who will arrive at 8 a.m. for impact and engagement, and will be available for press; also, Earl Christy, former New York Jets player, will be attending. 

Spokespersons from Convoy of Hope (nonprofit) and ADT Security (volunteer support) will be on hand for interviews. 

Media are invited to this special event being held at Tropicana Field’s parking lot: 1 Tropicana Dr., St Petersburg, FL 33705. Media may arrive at 7 a.m. ET. The event will start providing groceries and shoes at 8:30 a.m. ET until 12:30 p.m. ET.
