Convoy of Hope, Pittsburgh Steelers Team Up for NFL Draft Day Event
SPRINGFIELD, MO — April 28, 2021 — Convoy of Hope will team up with the Pittsburgh Steelers to host the first-ever Draft Day Community Event on May 1. Through partnerships with a Pro-Series Community Event and local charities, “Guests of Honor” from within the community will experience hope and receive groceries, lunch, blankets, books, and much more.
“We are grateful for our partnership with Convoy of Hope, and honored for another opportunity to serve the Pittsburgh community,” says Blayre Holmes, Pittsburgh Steelers Director of Community Relations.
The upcoming Draft Day gathering will mark the fifth community event in the last two years in which the Pittsburgh Steelers have teamed up with Convoy to bring hope to families.
“The Pittsburgh Steelers are amazing partners,” says Kirk Noonan, Convoy of Hope’s Vice President of Convoy Nation™, a fanbase of kindness that supports all of Convoy of Hope’s work. “From the top down, it’s clear the entire organization is generous and truly cares about their community.”
