Convoy of Hope Hosts Multi-Site Event in Long Island

LONG ISLAND, N.Y. – Convoy of Hope will partner with local businesses, churches, government agencies and nonprofits during a community celebration in Long Island, N.Y., on Saturday, June 14, at Robert Rowley Park, Kennedy Park and Elmont Memorial Library.

During the celebration, Convoy of Hope and the Long Island community will provide goods and services including free: food, health services, haircuts, family portraits, job services, a carnival and more. Identification is not required to attend and participate in the event.

In 2013, more than 118,000 guests attended Convoy of Hope events around the country.

Convoy of Hope partner Plum Organics will also be at the event. Plum Organics will treat guests with organic baby, toddler and child food products.
