Convoy of Hope Delivers Emergency Relief Following Devastating Venezuelan Earthquakes

SPRINGFIELD, MO (June 30, 2026) – Convoy of Hope continues delivering emergency relief across Venezuela after catastrophic earthquakes devastated the country. According to UNICEF, approximately 1.8 million people, including 680,000 children, are in need of urgent humanitarian assistance. Overall, the disaster has affected an estimated 6.76 million people.

Officials report more than 1,700 deaths, 5,000 injuries, and more than 50,000 people missing. The earthquakes have displaced at least 12,700 people, damaged 58,870 buildings, and triggered more than 600 aftershocks since Wednesday, complicating rescue efforts and increasing the need for humanitarian aid.

Convoy of Hope has teams on the ground providing emergency assistance to survivors. The organization is serving tens of thousands of hot meals through strategically positioned mobile kitchens while distributing clean water, hygiene kits, baby supplies, and other essential relief items to families impacted by the disaster.

As search-and-rescue operations continue, responders are still pulling survivors from collapsed buildings while families await news of missing loved ones. Ongoing aftershocks have made recovery efforts even more dangerous, forcing many residents to remain outside damaged homes and shelters.
