FedEx Freight recently stepped up to support Convoy of Hope in a time of need. Road Driver Mark McNeely, who is based at the companyโ€™s Kansas City facility, volunteered to serve residents of several communities impacted by Hurricane Ida by delivering a load of ice to South Louisiana.

โ€œIt was nice to volunteer with Convoy of Hope,โ€ McNeely said. โ€œI have seen Convoy of Hopeโ€™s trucks on the road before but did not know much about the organization. I was excited to play my part and learn more in the process.โ€

McNeely said responding to the call to deliver freight to a disaster zone was worthwhile and fulfilling.

โ€œI appreciate the opportunity to give back and help others out when they may need it most,โ€ he added.

Convoy of Hope is honored to partner with FedEx Freight. Their excellence in LTL transportation is making a difference for those in need.
