Bradley Pinion Partners With Convoy for Service Event

USA Reported by Convoy of Hope

Super Bowl champion punter Bradley Pinion teamed up with Convoy of Hope to serve the community of Clemson, South Carolina. They provided shoes, socks, groceries, hot meals, haircuts, school supplies, and other resources to 950 Guests of Honor in the community.

“This all started six years ago when I got into the NFL and I met the Convoy of Hope team,” Bradley told Tiger Net. “It’s just a small way for my wife and I [to give] back to the Clemson family.”

Convoy distributed about 700 school supplies and backpacks at the event, giving many a head start on the upcoming school year. There were also 600 shoes and hygiene kits provided, and 50 people received haircuts from three barbers at the event.

Bradley Pinion was joined by his wife, mother, and other football players, including KJ Henry, Jake Briningstool, and BT Potter. Many guests stayed for more than an hour to participate in activities alongside the athletes.

Convoy of Hope is grateful for partners like Bradley Pinion who multiply the capacity for Convoy to provide hope and vital resources to communities around the world.
