Internship What They’re Saying

Emily, college student, “This was the first summer I’ve walked away from knowing I didn’t waste my time…knowing I fulfilled a purpose and I was changed.”

Josh, college graduate, “The Convoy of Hope Internship truly offers an inside look at the heart of the organization. I have seen its heart of compassion, love, and dedication first-hand, and these traits have been evident in the lives of each person serving at Convoy of Hope.”

Nate, college graduate, “I walked away completely floored by this experience. What an awesome opportunity to play in apart in helping to change people’s lives.”

Sarah, high school graduate, “The experiences I’ve had with this team and the children has given me a whole new idea of what direction I want my life to go.”

Katie, high school graduate, “At the beginning of the internship, I wasn’t very confident that I could do anything to make a difference. There were so many things I was scared to do before. Now I wonder why I was afraid of other people and what they might think. I’m a much stronger person.”

The Convoy of Hope Internship is not Utopia. Living in a new community in various settings all over the world certainly has its challenges. But while it’s difficult at times, the opportunity to serve as a Convoy of Hope Intern, helping people in real spiritual and physical ways is a very rewarding thing.
