As a first responder to disasters, Convoy of Hope has seen devastated communities and the resulting human suffering, misery and loss. Because of this, and its commitment to helping churches serve their community, Convoy is launching a new initiative called H.O.P.E. Begins Here (Helping Others Prepare for Emergencies).

Increasingly, more faith-based leaders and houses of worship are being envisioned, equipped and engaged to respond quickly and compassionately to local, regional and national disasters; giving leadership, comfort and hope to victims in need.
